Since 2012, the Cruyff Foundation has been creating Special Cruyff Courts in the cities hosting the Paralympic Summer Games. These courts are specially designed for children with special needs, promoting equal access to sports for all and raising awareness of the importance of inclusive play.

Bonaire: new special Cruyff Court!
With a symbolic penalty, Cruyff Court Ban Hasi Sport was officially opened. Thanks to the Cruyff Court, Bonaire has gained an inclusive sports facility. Local residents, clients, partners, and even State Secretary Vincent Karremans were present to celebrate this special moment together.

Professor Erik Scherder: “Exercise is really healthy”
Both are from Betondorp: Johan Cruyff and Erik Scherder, professor of neuropsychology. Cruyff invited Scherder to a Cruyff Foundation seminar in 2014 and the contact stayed after that. Erik Scherder has since become a proud ambassador of the Cruyff Foundation.

Cruyff Court Ryan Gravenberch festively opened!
On Sunday, October 6, the renovated Cruyff Court Egoli in Amsterdam-SouthEast officially was reopened under its new name: Cruyff Court Ryan Gravenberch. As of today, the court wears the name of Gravenberch, who won the Johan Cruyff Prize for Talent of the Year in 2021.

Cruyff Court Sjaak Swart reopened
The newly renovated Cruyff Court Sjaak Swart in Amsterdam East has a huge appeal for sports and play! Sjaak Swart received his own Cruyff Court in 2018 in honor of his 80th birthday. Due to the renovation of Sumatraplantsoen, the court had to be moved. This moment was used to completely renovate and festively reopen the Cruyff Court.
