Kira Toussaint, the successful Dutch swimmer, is our new ambassador! Kira is known for her impressive achievements, including multiple national and international titles. Kira brings her passion for sports and her dedication to empowering young people to the Cruyff Foundation.
Kira's speciality is backstroke, and she holds the European records in both the 50m short course and 50m long course backstroke. Swimming is not new in the family, as her mother is Olympic champion Jolanda de Rover.
Kira Toussaint responded enthusiastically to her new role:
"Like Johan Cruyff, I believe it is very important that all children in the Netherlands have the opportunity to participate in sports. Everyone should be able to join in. It doesn’t matter what your background is, how you look, or what kind of disability you have. That’s why I’m proud to be the new ambassador of the Cruyff Foundation."
Kira’s journey to the top in swimming is a source of inspiration. Her determination, strength, and drive for success make her the ideal ambassador for the Cruyff Foundation. Together, we are committed to creating even more opportunities for children to grow through sport.
