During the FIBA World Cup 2019 in Amsterdam we were social partner, due to our collaboration with the Dutch Basketball Federation. We organized several side events, like the first Dutch 3x3 on Wheels Tournament.
Furthermore, children from primary schools got the opportunity to participate in a national 3x3 Tournament and children with a mental disability had their own national 3x3 Tournament.
Basketball is upcoming! In the form of 3x3, but regular wheelchair basketball too. For example the Dutch wheelchair ladies just won the European Championship. And that makes us happy!
We support the Dutch Basketball Federation, but also the International Female Wheelchair Basketball Camp in Spain. Every person should be able to participate in sports, and broadening the possibilities in basketball and the visibility of basketball helps with that.
