The Johan Cruyff Foundation supports and develops sports activities for children in need all over the world. Also in South Africa! Last week we had the kick-off of the first coach course in South Africa!
These coaches will soon start with our Heroes of the Cruyff Courts project on the Cruyff Court Ajax Capetown, the Orange Cruyff Court in Hillbrow in Johannesburg and the Cruyff Courts in the townships of Elandsdoorn and Bloempoort. The latter was opened last year, a project we did with Ndlovu Care Group and the Tjommie Foundation.
We would like to thank the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the players of the People's Postcode Lottery for helping us create space for vulnerable children in this part of the world.
Also hands up for Ajax Cape Town, KNVB WorldCoaches and the Madulammoho Housing Association for the great teamwork!
