Since 2003, the Johan Cruyff Award has been presented each year during the annual Football Gala to the "Talent of the Year" in the Netherlands. The winner is selected by a jury of current and former footballers and coaches, and is assessed based on the 14 rules of Johan Cruyff.
In addition to receiving a trophy, a Cruyff Court is also named after them.
